Well packaged. Took a bit of time to assemble. They provided all the tools. I think my top speed was 21mph. 7 gears and moving through them was no problem. Has tail light with turn signal and front led head light. It rides well. The one thing I might get is a mirror. Great bike for the money

Suggestion: Built-in phone pocket holder between the center console of the EB5 ROAMER, velcro phone and wallet, keys, id, credit cards, also the reflectors on a bike should be upgraded? So when the wheels spin the reflectors automatically blink, or just turn on towards where you can actually see it clearly flashing or not but I think it would help? Experiment on this you never know what may come out of this
EB5 Roamer is a winner

No matter what, everyone has different opinions, every bike company is different, some like this some like that, no matter what if you're happy so be it, not happy plenty out there not happy, but today after doing my research, from price to quality and customer reviews, and I finally came to this company that was recommended by a ebike mechanic guy who knows ebikes, so after all research, I decided to buy the EB5 ROAMER. This bike rides like a pro, I'm 56 and I love riding this bike, if you are reading this review everything I said about this bike is true so go buy one for your grand kids or wife, you, this is the way to ride, the future is here!

First Thoughts on the EB5 Roamer

I was able to assemble the bike in 2.5 hours with the tools that were included. I followed a You Tube video. The tires needed air but I had a compressor. The bike is fun and easy to ride. You can pedal normal, pedal with assistance or just ride. It was very easy to figure out how it all works. The bike can go really fast, and I was surprised by the speed. My only issue so far was not being able to reset the trip milage. I called customer service, and they talked me through it. I am 66 years old and had not ridden a bike since college. If I can enjoy this bike anyone in fair shape should also be able to enjoy it.

Great bike for the money

This is my third roamer, I bought two EB five step throughs and one eb5 with the crossbar. One each for my wife and I in our Florida home, and when I got back to our home state I decided to buy another one for me for those days when my knees ache. The service support is phenomenal, I had one or two issues and they are highly responsive within 24 hours and satisfied the minor issues that I had. A couple of candid comments, one is don't expect that they will be fully ride ready after you assemble them. It will require some adjustments. Two of my three bikes required truing the front wheel one of which was way out of true. All bikes have required some gear adjustments and all bikes have required front brake adjustment. One of the three bikes front brake was so loose it would have come apart had I not recognized it. One part on one of the bikes was minorly damaged presumably in transit, and that was addressed immediately without any pushback, and a new part was sent. Phenomenal response. We have enjoyed the step-throughs, they work for my 60-year-old neck a lot better than the more hunched over ride of the eb-5 with the crossbar. Unfortunately those handlebars are not interchangeable with the St so be careful what kind of ride you want, if you want to fully upright ride that is the step through. The other comment I will make is the seats are on the cheap side and I think most Riders will replace them. I'm wondering if that was semi-intentional as a saddle is a little personal choice and lots of people replace saddles on bikes of all prices. Overall very satisfied with the bike, obviously since I just purchased my third one I would recommend these. The range that you get is just about to spec, on the pedal assist first speed which we often just switch off you can easily get around 50 Mi although we've not pushed it that far, but the residual charge that we have left after 30 or 40 miles definitely demonstrates the range there. The only other adjustment I had to make was the throttle cable ended up being loose, so the motor would just kick on at random times including while at a crosswalk. I finally figured out that if you disconnect and reconnect the cable it seemed to take care of the issue. The power/torque is phenomenal, little things like an attached light, with the turn signal in the rear is pretty cool and very functional. The delivery is fast, the most recent one arrived in 4 days after ordering . Overall quite impressed.

Poor customer service

I submitted an email to your company a week ago concerning not this bike but the one that I purchased approximately 10 months ago for my other son. In approximately 500 miles we had to replace all of the brake pads as well as the rear tire because the rear tire was completely bald. Attire on a bicycle should last no less than 1500 mi and under normal riding conditions which is what my son is doing riding to and from school the tire should have lasted at least 2,000 to 2500 miles. No one ever got back to me. I am sorry that I purchased the second bicycle because I am concerned now that I will have the same problems and the same expenses to repair the bike. The first bike cost me $182 to repair that was a rear tire and replacing brake pads in the first 500 miles of use. Totally unacceptable. I can be reached at [****] if somebody wants to contact me

decent budget bike

Ive got about 120 miles on her. If you dont know how to adjust brakes, have pro do it. The seat post is trash, does not tighten enough, always slides down. Bracket for LED display broke during shipping (they quickly shipped me a new one). The front brake rotor arrived bent (they quickly shipped me a new one). I even ran over broken glass, popping my back tire AND THEY SENT ME A NEW TUBE because id bough bike in last 30 days.
EXCELLENT customer service (go through FB)
The claim of "65 miles" is way off. I get 15 miles going speed 5 with pedal assist, I've rode it 140miles.
Uphill with pedal assist is like 15mph tops.
Gears come loose. Again, have a pro do it, you wont regret it...but know this is gonna turn into a $900 bike.
