I was attempting to buy this E bike. But let me tell you you will not be disappointed. I highly recommend . I keep smiling every time I ride the bike cause now I can go more.. notice they have multiple good looking bikes, but I went to thunder so as for a big person, this is the bike for you. so what are you waiting for? Go buy it

Very easy to assemble rides great 2 year warranty beyond other similar bikes

Was surprised at the order to delivery time - well done. Set up was smooth and complete in 1.5 hours - nice video on assembly. Only disappointment: wasn’t familiar with details regarding the ride experience- should do a quick video on user interface and technique on riding an e bike bs bike or moped - the pos settings took me a while to figure out.

. great bike for taller riders. The bike handles great and has a strong motor. Battery life is good but would buy the larger battery if you have a long commute

I love Penelope she's awesome. I never received the basket on the rack. I would also like to have repair guide parts list and electric schematic and diagram, I'll gladly pay for thank you the bike is perfect for me!!

The Jasion Thunder ebike has been better than I expected

This is my second e-Bike and I'm very happy I chose the Jasion Thunder. I consider this to be a luxurious e-Bike; 1,500 watts of power is luxurious and the well controlled gentle ride is luxurious. I chose the bike because of the power, the UL2849 certification, and the shorter wheelbase which makes it possible for me the transport the bike on my hitch mounted bike carrier. The bike is very complete with the awesome color display, lighting front and rear, turn signals, horn, and rear rack. The bike features an App to allow you to control settings of the bike and update software, a feature that I've not seen on any other e-Bike. The Thunder also has a cruise feature that holds your speed so you don't need to pedal or use throttle, just sit and enjoy the ride. The 4 inch tires feel much softer than the 2 inch tires I had on my old bike and do a good job absorbing bumps. I chose the Blue color but there's 3 colors to choose from.

The assembly took me about an hour and was not difficult. The bike came with a 2 year warranty but I assume that means parts if you need them. In my opinion, if you're capable of assembling a bike that you purchase online that you could also make adjustments or repairs as necessary. Or take it to a local bike shop. I've been working on my own bikes for years so this isn't a problem for me.

I had to address a few items after assembly but were not difficult:
1) The seat post wouldn't hold the tilt of the seat no matter how much I tightened it. I replaced the seat post with a Zoom spring seat post that I wanted anyway.
2) The gear derailleur needed to be adjusted. This took me 10 minutes.
3) And the front tire was not installed on the rim centered so it had some wobble-hop. I just repositioned the tire on the rim and inflated, not difficult.

I tried contacting Jasion support and they answer the phone within a couple minutes and they respond to email next day, good to know.

I'm enjoying the Thunder very much and I'm sure you will too, good choice!

Thunder

Hands down one of the best ebikes ive owned " ive owned 5 now". This bike blows the competion away. Jasion really took on the challenge. Their first fat tire ebike is fantastic. From the solid frame and tires to the responsive brakes and electronics. Nothing about their " thunder model missed its mark. Furthermore jasion stands firmly beside there product. Had an small shipping issue " damaged component , minor cable damaged" Lucy was extremely knowledgeable and prompt. She quickly responded, trouble shooted the issue and explained the steps and options to me. Sadly being an brand new model my part would need to be manufactured and ship from the factory direct to me. But to compensate we discussed an free accessory for the wait and she and her supervisor had no issue meeting me halfway and overall very satified and look forward to buying more from them in the future.
